Preamble

« Homo homini lupus, quia cupide sequitur proprium commodum, ubi non est aliqua vis superior terrenda. »

1642, De Cive - T. Hobbes.

From a very young age, I had a strong interest in books and especially in works rich in meaning and depth. From Hobbes to Spinoza, via Molière, Voltaire and Baudelaire, not forgetting the reading of sacred books: My need for knowledge has never been exhausted.

Despite effective education from my parents, life took me through dark episodes mixing youthful depression and macabre visions that never stopped following me. However, I have been using this since the need for introspection and meditation became essential, around the age of seven.

I started with writing: Dark writings from a sad and gloomy kid overwhelmed by life. Subsequently, I began to pose for a photographer who introduced me to both photography and his “Trash Aesthetic” universe. This allowed me acceptance towards myself, open-mindedness and ease in this environment. I wanted to initiate the creation myself: I started with self-portraits, then quickly I wanted to have a more universal message by photographing the people around me.

I create with a certain Aesthetics of Socio-psychological Dramatic Realism.
